Has Vin Diesel Taken Steroids?

Vin Diesel is the star in the Fast and Furious franchise which I guess everyone has seen it. In case you haven’t, I recommend it, especially if you love fast cars, big muscles and intense fights. But I guess whoever watches Fast and Furious movies has wondered at some point if Vin Diesel is on steroids as he looks really big in muscles. The fact that many have wondered if he’s on steroids is proved by the much speculation that’s going online and today, I am going to try and determine if he has ever “cheated” or he is all natural.

Reading information about this famous actor online and reading people’s guesses I couldn’t end up with a solid conclusion as there are some people who think he’s juiced up but there are other people who are sure that he got all his forms naturally. We can’t say for sure so far but in this article I am going to bring to light some facts that prove he’s either natural or juiced up. What we can see for sure is the fact that he has got some really big muscles with his arms that measure 18” inches which is something that by far not everyone can achieve. Here are Vin (Vincent) Diesel body stats: Height 5 ft 11 (180 cm), weight is 225 lbs (around 102 kg), arms as said earlier – 18 “; chest 52” inches and body fat percentage 14%.

Checking this data and photos online we might say that Diesel definitely isn’t the most aesthetic guy in the Hollywood, nonetheless he’s still not lacking at the massthetics part and now I am going to give some facts providing evidence he’s all naturally gifted along with hard work or he’s using steroids to achieve this body many envy. Here’s what we got.

Vin Diesel deny any steroid use

By doing research about whether a guy uses steroids, I am very intrigued in finding out what they say about steroid use themselves and that’s why, doing a research I have found an interview with Vin Diesel from 2013. So, 6 years ago in The Jay Leno Show, he has been asked about this topic of using steroids and if he ever tried to use any of them. The response was negative and that’s something we need to take in consideration but there are some things about that interview that we should take a closer look. Here’s the YouTube link (the interesting part is at 30 sec).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=35&v=1OVOA7lVcmo

One of the things that I need to mention here is the fact that Vin Diesel consciously seem to try to delay the direct answer to the question that he has been asked by Jay “Have you ever been tempted to use steroids”. From that moment, you can notice that it took around 30 seconds (which is quite a lot in direct conversation) in order to directly answer the question he was asked. Taking in consideration that this is a taboo question and that the steroids users are very often being viewed as “cheaters”, people who are accused, directly or indirectly, of using steroids, they try to deny it as soon as possible, however it takes a long time for Vin to answer it. He doesn’t seem to be very comfortable with the whole situation and the worst is that he tries to change the topic of the conversation. I guess you don’t need to be an expert to understand that this must show something. However, after eventually he took his time the response arrived:

“I’ve never done any type of steroid. The only thing I’ve ever done is protein powder. I’m lucky that I’ve never felt like I had to do steroids and now as an actor I’m not even thinking about being a bodybuilder or anything”.

Another strange thing that we need to take in consideration is that soon after mentioning that, he says: “the reason I’m saying that is so that people don’t feel like they have (to take steroids)”.

What I’m trying to say is that there’s obviously no need to justify the fact that you have never done something, especially if we’re talking about a “taboo topic” or something that’s considered “bad and cheating”. However, let’s think: why would someone feel the need to justify it with another comment if it was true? What I want to say is that there’s something that surely seem to be fishy about his answer. I am not trying to say that he is on steroids as this answer doesn’t automatically assume this, what I try to say is that maybe there’s something else he used and wouldn’t want people to know. Maybe he did use them in his teen age (it is not a secret many teenagers use steroids) and he’s ashamed of this, or maybe he’s indeed using steroids. We didn’t get a clear proof that he does use steroids so there are other evidences we need to check.

Human Lie Detector on Vin Diesel’s words from the Video

I have asked a professional human lie detector to analyze this video and the Vin Diesel’s words which can help us determine, of course, if Vin Diesel was Lying. A Human Lie Detector is a professional person who analyzes gesticulations, voice, person’s look and many other things which can indicate if that person lies at the moment he/ she says something or not. The response arrived and here are the notes

***HUMAN LIE DETECTOR NOTES***

The question is: “Have you ever been tempted to use steroids?”, not “have you ever taken steroids?”. It’s not a great question. Vin Diesel answers: “I.I, have not” which isn’t a no and shows an increase in tension straight away. The simplest answer would be to say “no.” – but he doesn’t.

He laughs, he deflects, he says “I,I, I believe you should be experimental.” this shows an increase in tension and a weak assertion. He then feels the need to use humour, which there is a need for. Many people use humour in stressful situations.

After this he is adding “it’s kind of a weird topic” and shortly after also adds, “I have never done any type of steroid“. That’s just not reliable denial. The denial he used is unreliable. The reason is because a reliable denial would be to hear the word “no” and have him say, “I did not and have not taken steroids” First person, past tense, allegation specific. Vin Diesel doesn’t deny taking steroids and gives an unreliable denial. He chooses his words very specifically and is unable to say “no.” – there’s always a reason for that. He shows an increase in tension, which is unexpected and tries to deflect the situation while he uses laughter and humor (that’s what usually people try to use for deflecting tensed situations). We’d need to know what he terms as steroids, as what we class as steroids he may not.

***END OF HUMAN LIE DETECTOR NOTES***

We’ve been said that a typical discourse analysis that is being conducted by the professional human lie detector is considered to be around 92% accurate, which is pretty highly accurate. What’s interesting here is the fact how the human lie detector is saying “what we class as steroids he may not” – that’s just perfectly showing how Vin is taking HGH.

The Diesel’s Gains Timeline

As I always say, it is very important to check the subject’s gains timeline (in this case – Vin Diesel’s) in order to be able to answer the question whether is he using steroids or not more accurately. To check the gains timeline it is a way to analyze how their body have changed throughout their lifetime. It is one of the most important thing to check as it is one of the most accurate way to determine if someone’s using steroids (obviously, without actually putting them to drug test).

First off, I must say that all natural guys are having nearly the identical gains timelines, obviously with some differences thanks to genetics but yet, they are pretty much the same. The natural guys’ muscles are growing a lot when they firstly start to lift weights but after that, their gains are very and very slow and steady. This is what we call the “newbie gains”. When a guy firstly hits the gym he can see a huge difference in his muscle size in a short period of time. But that’s something unheard of (without using steroids) for a gym veteran. If a person does uses steroids he would also get the same growth spike during his newbie gains period (maybe a bit more but nothing what we can call “too much”). But, the big difference between the steroid users and the naturals is after the “newbie gains” period where the natural guys would stop growing after this while the steroid users would continue growing more and more. Another difference is that the steroid users might see an nearly overnight (suddenly) huge gains of muscles and in their size, out of nowhere. Those guys using steroids are going to see a gain of approximately 30 to 50 pounds of mass very easily and very fast – and their muscles are going to blow up and also, there’s going to be no logical explanation for that. No logical explanation if you’re natural. That’s why – there are the steroids.

Although I explained this, I am not trying to say that Vincent Diesel’s muscles have ever blown up at a point in his life that could indicate the use of steroids. of course I don’t know him personally, but I can conclude this by checking his photos that were taken back when he was 19 years old. But, although he doesn’t have buffed up muscles overnight, his body still has some significant changes from that point until now and to my opinion, those changes does not actually fit the description of a natural guy. What are those symptoms?

The symptoms of using steroids

By analyzing how his body changed and simply analyzing his body from photos we can find online, there are 3 main symptoms on Vin Diesel’s body which can be considered the “steroid symptoms” and they include: steroid gut; bloating and HGH nose.

The steroid gut is one of the most common side effects and that’s why a distended stomach is what can be considered a big giveaway of using them. This symptom is appearing to nearly any person that is using human growth hormone (HGH which technically is not considered a steroid), a compound that is enlarging the internal organs and therefore is causing the protruding gut. Here are photos taken by paparazzi proving this fact.

Another thing that indicates the HGH use is the excessive bloating which I guess is something that didn’t remained unnoticed for Vin Diesel and that’s especially after this photo appeared online:

This is an extremely common side effect of HGH because when this compound is combined with insulin it is causing some excessive amounts of extracellular water retention. This bloating effect can be seen in many famous guys such as Sylvester Stallone, John Cena, Kali Muscle and others. The sudden increase in the water weight is happening because the HGH it is increasing the ADH (anti diuretic hormone level). This is a hormone that keeps the water in the body. The bigger the hormone level – the bigger amount of water – the bigger bloating. That’s why, the bigger the dose of HGH, the higher the ADH levels are going to rise so the bigger the bloating.

Except for the fact that this symptom is a big giveaway of using HGH because it is an extremely common symptom for HGH users, is the fact that natural bodybuilders will very rarely see this bloating. You can check famous natural bodybuilders which are not bloated and in case the naturals do ever get bloated, it is happening for only a short of period of time. Nonetheless, Vin Diesel has been very often seen with a bloated midsection and in addition to that, with a plump face and that’s even though he’s pretty lean. People who are adamant he’s all natural may say that this is simply his genetics but that’s something I wouldn’t agree with. Vin Diesel never used to look so bloated in his younger age, but he’s always bloated nowadays. You can check the comparison between Vin Diesel at 19 years and the way he looks now.

What we can see in the photo of him at 19 years old is that there are no signs of using anything at all (no steroidal use or HGH use) although his muscles were already very well developed, but he has no steroid gut or bloating. Plus to that, you can see that his waist (midsection) is tiny (compared to other parts of the body) and that’s the exact way how it should look like in case you’re a natural gym rat.

The HGH is not a very powerful compound when it comes down to building muscles if comparing it to bulking steroids, and especially not “overnight” as the bulking steroids,  that’s why even though you are going to build muscles on it, you are not going to see any huge gains in the muscle mass amounts, and all the gains would happen slowly and steadily (more natural-like compared to steroids). That’s why I think it would be logical to say that Vin didn’t used steroids but he did used HGH. He has not gained a huge amount of muscles from his teen age whereas he was already lean and big.

HGH Nose

It is considered that human’s nose is one of the very few organs which is constantly growing (never stops from growing) and for this reasons, one of the biggest giveaways of somebody that is using HGH it is their nose. Although the nose continues to grow constantly, the changes are insignificant, however if a person uses HGH for a long period of time then their nose is going to become much bigger. We have noticed a big difference in Sylvester Stallone’s nose after he have started to use HGH (it is a fact he uses HGH especially after he has been caught trying to enter Australia with some HGH vials) and as much as we can notice, Vin Diesel’s nose also went through changes – got bigger.

I can’t say that the transformation of his nose is as dramatic as Stallone’s due to the fact that Vin’s nose in his young age wasn’t small either, but over the years we can definitely notice that it has grown in size and that’s the HGH symptom. The nose is made up of soft tissue and the HGH is making the bone and tissue to grow in the user’s body – hence your nose grows.

So, what’s the conclusion?

In the end, is Vin Diesel on steroids or not? Well, yes and no – let me explain. It does looks like Vin Diesel has been juicing and I guess that’s the reason why he has taken that much time to respond the question directly. Nonetheless, he answered no and that’s true either. The reason is that it looks like he has been juicing HGH and technically that’s not a steroid (but he was asked if he uses steroids, not HGH). In the interview, Vincent was looking really honest when he said that he has never touched any type of steroid in his life and to be honest, I really believe him as he doesn’t have any steroid like symptoms. He only has HGH symptoms, which he never denied using and it is not a steroid.

In the same time, I am pretty sure from all the reasons I mentioned earlier that Vin Diesel is on a combination of HGH and insulin and that’s why he has got the excessive bloating that has transformed his tiny waist into a mild steroid gut. Plus, that’s the only logical explanation why he delayed so much trying to answer the question during the Jay’s interview.

During that Interview you can find Vin Diesel suggesting that the only thing he has taken is “protein powder” and to be honest, I don’t think he has been fully honest at this moment. I do not try to make him look wrong or say that he’s a liar. I do believe that his motive is actually good as he perfectly knows that many people idolize him and he wouldn’t want someone start taking anything at all (including HGH) because of his words. That’s why I actually think that it was a smart move lying that he used HGH as many people might not see the difference between HGH use and steroid use which is actually pretty big.

It is very important now to mention the following: even though the evidence is proving that Vin Diesel has been using HGH, it is still absolutely possible for a natural bodybuilder to become as big and achieve such a size as Vincent. In case you have got some pretty good genetics and you are going to spend at least a couple of years trying to bulk up, then it is very possible you are going to gain the same muscle mass as Vin Diesel without using any type of steroids or even HGH.

A random but what I found a very interesting fact that I found while doing my research about whether or not Vin Diesel is using steroids: “According to reports, Vin once suggested that he’d beat the Rock in a fight.” That’s a huge claim to my opinion taking in consideration the Rock was a professional wrestler and seem to have better body stats.

What do you think? Has ever Vin Diesel taken steroids? Do you think that Vin Diesel would really beat the Rock in a fight? Tell us what do you think about HGH use. Or if you have any other comments – share it all below.
